GenomSys signs MPEG‑G distribution agreement in Jordan
Bringing the ISO/IEC 23092 MPEG‑G standard to clinical and research labs across the Hashemite Kingdom through a new regional distribution partnership.
GenomSys has signed a distribution agreement to bring its MPEG‑G–based genomic analysis software to clinical and research laboratories across Jordan. The deal extends the reach of the ISO/IEC 23092 standard into the Middle East and gives labs in the region direct access to the GenomSys MPEG‑G Suite — including the Genome Variant Analyzer (GVA), the Genome Blood Typer (GBT) and the GenomYou companion app.
The partnership is part of GenomSys’ wider strategy of co-designed innovation in software-powered healthcare: working with local distributors who understand the regulatory and clinical landscape, while standardising the underlying representation of genomic data so results travel across institutions without re-processing.
For Jordanian labs the immediate benefit is faster, smaller, more portable genomic files — compressed by an order of magnitude compared to legacy BAM/VCF workflows — and access to a growing ecosystem of analysis applications built on the same interoperable foundation.
